Downeaster Discovery Field Trip Program

The Downeaster Discovery Field Trip Program allows school and youth groups to travel on the Downeaster for $16 per person round-trip!
Kids of all ages love to ride the Downeaster. With so many places to go and things to see, many still say it’s their favorite part of the trip!
Every field trip experience is better on the Downeaster. Onboard, kids can move around, socialize and grab a snack. In addition, teachers can organize activities and games — even provide a speaker — and make the train part of the learning experience!
