Maine Department of Transportation Commissioner David Bernhardt recognized the economic impact the Downeaster has had on Maine and the region.Peter Burling, Chair of the NH Rail Transit Authority and David Preece of the Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission joined Michael Pillsbury and Christopher Morgan of NH DOT in celebrating the success of the Downeaster.
